Clinic hours are 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday – Thursday.
Our general telephone lines are open during these hours and we have adopted new protocols for entry into the clinic. We kindly ask that you call before coming to the clinic as our initial contact will be made by telephone. If there is a need for lab work, medication/refills or a face-to-face visit with the provider we will schedule a clinic time on a more limited hour’s basis.
We are following all guidelines that have been mandated to keep us all safe and we appreciate your patience as we work through this unprecedented healthcare concern.
Welcome to Interfaith Community Clinic. Founded by Dr. Joel Kerschenbaum, South County Community Clinic, dba Interfaith Community Clinic (ICC) opened its doors in 1996 to meet the medical needs of the uninsured population in Montgomery County.
Today, the clinic provides quality medical and dental care, counseling and patient service assistance to qualified, uninsured individuals.
To receive care, individuals must make an appointment to assess eligibility prior to seeing a doctor. Eligibility interviews are conducted by appointment by calling the Clinic’s main number at (281) 364-7889 during normal business hours. (Monday – Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am-Noon)
You must bring identification; proof of income and proof of address to your eligibility interview (see below for further details).
We are pleased to offer our patients the ability to communicate securely with their providers, and order refills all at home through the patient portal. If you haven't signed up for our Patient Portal we recommend you contact the front desk to be able to use these great features.
Volunteerism is a vital component of Interfaith Community Clinic. Approximately 90% of all services are performed by licensed professionals volunteering their time to help our patients. The clinic’s volunteers are truly the key to our success.
