Family of Three
The clinic is currently caring for a family of three, headed by a single mother. She was laid off from her job as an administrative assistant, and is now working for a much smaller company with no benefits. Imagine her fear and frustration at the inability to provide her son desperately needed treatment for asthma, coupled with the inability to pay for her own diabetic medication. This mother found the clinic through an assistance program at her church. Her son, is now receiving proper care to manage his asthma symptoms, and she is being treated for diabetes; her medication provided by a pharmacy assistance program which is facilitated thru ICC. Her daughter has received preventative dental sealants on her permanent teeth which will help prevent decay, and all three have received cleanings and fillings through our dental services program. She would be the first to tell you that our clinic has, without a doubt, saved their lives.
